Cold Therapy for Multiple Sclerosis:
Your Favorite Ice Pack for MS Pain
Cold Comfort When You Need It Most
At ReLeafpack, we believe in showing up for each other—especially when the world feels overwhelming. Our weighted cold therapy packs are designed with purpose: to bring calm, relief, and support to those living with invisible symptoms like heat intolerance, migraine, and Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Prevalence...
Almost 1 million people in the United States have received a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis.
MS organizations estimate that 2.9 million people in the world have MS.
MS & Butterflies
A Symbol of Transformation: Butterflies are universally recognized as symbols of transformation and resilience. This resonates within the MS community, reflecting the challenges and adaptability required in living with the condition. The butterfly shape is also reminiscent of the appearance of the brain in MRI scans, further
connecting the symbol to MS.

Because Not All Symptoms Are Visible
Living with MS means navigating a wide range of sensations—some mild, some disruptive, and some downright painful. As lesions in the nervous system disrupt normal pathways, they can trigger altered or abnormal sensations like burning, stinging, electrical zaps, or intense itching, collectively known as dysesthesia. These episodes can come and go or linger, and heat often makes them worse.

MS "Hug"

Headaches and Migraines

Painful Tingling or Throbbing
When even small increases in body temperature intensify your symptoms, cold therapy becomes more than comfort. It’s relief.

Progressive-Relapsing MS (PRMS)
Rare (less than 5%)
Characterized by a steady decline in ability or function with occasional relapse

Primary Progressive MS (PPMS)
Less common (10-15%) Symptoms progress steadily from the onset, without remissions.

Secondary Progressive MS (SPMS)
Develops in about 50-60% of people with RRMS Begins as RRMS but progresses to a steady decline in function over time, with or without occasional relapses.

Relapsing-Remitting MS (RRMS)
Most common type (85%) Characterized by periods of relapses (flare-ups) with symptoms that worsen, followed by remissions (recovery periods).
You should always check with your doctor before beginning a new type of treatment. However, based on our personal experience and feedback from our community, people who suffer from these types of MS have found relief when using our ice packs for Multiple Sclerosis symptoms.

Living with MS: Real Experiences from Our ReLeafpack Family
Appreciate this post! ReLeaf packs are a huge part of my symptom tool kit! Especially as an MSer living in Florida 🥵🤕
This is AWESOME!! ☺️💕 My MS always makes me hot, and I don’t want to use a heating pad since it triggers symptoms for MS!
Not all symptoms are visible and it means a lot to be supported and seen while others have the opportunity to learn. ReLeaf packs have been a life saver for me as a MS’r and migraine/IIH sufferer. 🙏🧡💙
